What Depression? How the American kids beat the blahs
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 16 years ago
This was a spellbinding book for me because I lived during that time and am very familiar with the area where the kids lived and I recognized some of the names mentioned in the book. I could visualize all the different scenarios. Wish there were more books like that to let the younger generation know what the average person went through during the depression. Wish I could get in touch with the author and ask him a few questions about Queen Anne High School, etc.
