Still worthwhile practical information here

I first read this book 20+ years ago in anticipation of my second marriage. It was not around for my first marriage but I wonder how things might have been different, had I known some of the information in this book. I am just getting ready to give my copy to a niece getting married, as well as celebrating our own 20th anniversary. There's some good, practical and useful reading here.

This book is obviously slanted toward women, but it applies to men as well. I am a minister, and the section about questions to ask each other BEFORE you get married are a great counseling tool. Everyone should read this and answer those questions before they get married.

Since reading this book about 6 years ago I've looked in every bookstore to obtain my own copy without success. I found this book to be quite enlightening with respect to why males think and behave differently to women and the critical role females play in understanding these differences thus creating more effective and fulfilling relationships. I think it can also assist some males in better understanding themselves.
