For ages 2 to 5 years. Following the success of "What is Christmas?" and "What is Easter?", Michelle Medlock Adams brings the same humour and warmth to this little Halloween board book. The simple text and colourful illustrations will help put youngsters at was with the sometimes frightening symbols of the holiday. Adams brings readers full circle to explain that scary costumes and haunted houses are but a small part of this celebration.

This is a wonderful book that puts halloween in perspective...to have fun. I have bought other books by the same author and my two year old enjoys them immensely.
Halloween is more than a scary night

I really think this is a great book for your toddler because it focuses on the not so scary things that happen in the fall and on the night of Halloween. Halloween is not just bats and skeletons. There are great things to do like carving pumpkins, fall festivals, jumping in the leaves and trick or treat. The last page ends with this sentence which I really like .... " make memories with those you love best, right now and all year through!"
