Berkowitz gives a no holds barred view into a man's psyche. Aside from being a man himself, he also interviewed other men to get a consensus of opinion. All people (yes men are people) are different so not every one will react according to the predictions made in this book. But it has given me a better understanding of men, friends and family included.
I had to MAKE all the mistakes BB warns of in this book

before I bought the book! I was 37 with a failed marriage behind me when I realized MEN ARE NOT WOMEN WITH THE THINGY.. when I realized I knew SQUAT about men. They are these exotic animals that should be STUDIED before played with. This book was one of many that revealed how WRONG we are when we assume things about other people based on our own point of wiew. No, men are definitely not hairier versions of women.. but on the bright side they are simpler than we seem to believe and there ARE some basic instructions for use.
