What the Psalmist is Saying to You Today by Peter Wallace is an excellent aid to meditating on the book of Psalms. I like the index in the back that lists the devotion by the emotion connected to the Psalm, the subject matter of the Psalm, or the characteristic of God revealed in the Psalm. I like the arrangement of the selected scripture beginning with Psalm 1 on day 1 and ending with Psalm 150 on day 366. Most of my favorite Psalms are referenced. I appreciate the repeated reminder to look to the Lord for strength and help with the various problems that we hear about or experience on a daily basis. Mr. Wallace helps us see how even though the human author of most of the Psalms lived almost 3000 years ago, his experience is extremely relevant to the issues that face us today. I found myself often thinking, "Shout praises to the Lord!"
