A good book, but not for beginners

"When God Prays" by Skip Heitzig is an insightful look at Jesus' final prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane recorded in John 17. At times, this book is a bit wordy, but overall, it is thought-provoking. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who hasn't studied prayer previously, as it is geared more toward a practiced pray-er.

This book covered from the Bible John 17th chapter and it broke down every component of that scripture to give assurance to any believer that they must pray in order to maintain a relationship with God. Two other things impressed me was the part about heaven and how it should be viewed. The other part was the comparison or analysis to Matthew 6th Chapter. The book is an eye opener and one that every believer should have in their library. Lillie Smith
