Good book. Wasn’t quite what I was expecting. This book has some good points. I didn’t like how she abbreviated so much and just put N instead of narcissists, it made it hard to read sometimes. This book does help you know you are not the only one who has the misfortune of falling for a narcissist, and will help you to see the signs of narcissism. I think the love fraud website that she talks about can be a good place to start to find answers. I love how she says what we allow will continue. This really spoke to me. Other quotes from this book that helped me include: The ability and willingness to set boundaries is a person’s only protection against narcissism. Life is so precious and loving a narcissist will kill the best years of your life in the blink of an eye. You can be an empathetic, loving and generous person, and still make a decision that you are not responsible for other people’s problems. You didn’t create them and you cannot fix them. Overall this was a good book. I think it would have been more helpful to me if I would have found it sooner. I wish I found it when I first started on my journey to reality and I had just realized I married a narcissist.
