This book truely gets you further down the road with your Christian walk. I think people generally want to get closer to Jesus, but just don't know how. This book SHOWS you how. I underline the important things in each book I read -- and almost this whole book is underlined!!! I think that most people who are trying to get closer to Jesus don't realize how much "work" it takes. Like me, I was just going on my merry way, reading my Bible and getting to church and Bible class and trying to do my best to follow what I aleady know from God. But I'm realizing that God wants so much more. By fasting, it really humbles you before God and provides that deepness that you may have been looking for. This book gives you such great direction, as well as some GREAT scriptures to back it all up!!!

If you are a little Weak on Fasting this book will give you a FRESH desire to get to business! Joy provides Both Bible and modern examples of things that happen When We Fast! Jesus said "When ye Fast..." Mt. 6:16 Not IF ye fast. Jesus just expects us to fast and this book will GREATLY inspire you. :)
