Each year, 12 million Americans experience the death of a parent. Even when the death is expected, the loss presents both unique challenges and opportunities for personal spiritual growth. When Your Parent Dies is a brief, focused book that guides adults through this difficult time. The author shows how the resources of faith can help a grieving person move forward in life to find hope and healing.
Great Resource to help you know you are not alone in the grieving process

This is a great book for adults who have lost their parents through any circumstance. It gives many examples from those who have already been through this process. It goes through the various reactions to death that can be found within the same family. I personally have bought probably 50 of these books since I first found it after my dad died in 2000 and given them away to friends and family when they've lost a parent. You won't regret the very small $5.99 price for this great resource!
