Christmas is a time for angel. Shirley, Goodness and Mercy are back These three irresistible angels love their assignments on Earth. They especially love helping people who send prayer requests to Heaven (even though the Archangel Gabriel, their boss, knows they're going to break his rules) This Christmas, Mercy is assigned to bring peace of mind to an elderly man-- who discovers an unexpected answer to his prayer. Goodness is sent to oversee the love life of a young woman afraid to risk commitment a second time. And Shirley has the task of granting a little boy's fondest Christmas wish. Shirley, Goodness and Mercy go wherever they're needed. These three charming angels often find themselves in trouble, but somehow things always work out for the best--especially at Christmas.
Great novel. I look forward to an angel novel every Christmas and I wasn't disappointed this year. It was easy reading and enjoyable.
I love Shirley, Goodness and Mercy!

Debbie Macomber is an awesome writer! Her heaven trio comprise a wonderful literary creation. What I like about all of Debbie's work is that she writes from the heart. And this book with touch your heart...and make you smile. Christmas Gifts, Christmas Voices--another holiday book that will touch your heart.

A wonderful Christmas story with 3 wonderfully amusing angles who never stop believing that good things do happen to people at Christmas. This story tells of 3 different families with 3 different situations. Each story brings families together in ways the families can't imagine. (The angles help too). What an incredible book. Once you start reading it, you won't be able to set it down. I even got yelled at by my boss for reading the book on company time. I've read it 4 times and each time is like the first time. There is alot of information to process so get ready be blown away. It's awsome. Also, if you missed reading Tino Georgiou's masterpiece--The Fates, go and read it.
Very touching.

A shortage of available Prayer Ambassadors at the busiest time of year means the Archangel Gabriel must once again call out the Angelic Three Musketeers to handle a trio of special requests. Outwardly, they appear to be simple; find a little boy a dog, help a young lady move past the pain of a long ago divorce, and give a dying old man peace about his wife's fate when he has gone to the light. In fact, God has already put in place the very tools they need to bring about their miracles. Even these three shouldn't be able to cause trouble with such easy requests. Well, make that not very much trouble, considering who we are discussing. Apparent simplicity aside, Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy find that their chosen recipients of grace come with problems that make the gifts hard to grant. Fortunately, they work for Someone who is very good with miracles. ***** Though this latest foray into the adventures of my favorite fictional heavenly messengers is perhaps less whacky than prior entries, I dare say it is by far the best. Long before the last page is turned, not only have I laughed, but have also been moved to the good sort of tears that cleanse as they hurt. Keep a tissue handy. This is a treasure of a book and worth every sniffle. There is plenty of comedy, but the way Where Angels Go touches your heart is the payoff. ***** Amanda Killgore
