So far it looks like I'm the only reviewer who's read this book. I'd like to tell Mr. Mammen that he's written a thought-provoking book that makes it hard to stay an intellectually-fulfilled atheist. This is a page-turner written in an almost conversational style that makes it easy to read in little more than one sitting. In chapter 4, the explanation of the fine-tuning issue in the laws of physics is full of new illustrations that blow the mind. The author explains multi-dimensionality in a way that's accessible to non-physicists and non-mathematicians such as myself (which I appreciate). Almost half of the book is set up as answers to common objections, which is different than anything that I've ever seen before, but I think it works pretty well in this context. It is clear that Mr. Mammen has talked and interacted with dozens of people who disagree with this point of view and it covers most of everything I can think of. On a side note, I really appreciate how this book actually has the notations at the bottom of the page in footnotes rather than at the end of the book. It is so bothersome to have to keep a post-it note at the back of the page so I can actually interact with the cited material. All in all, I'd say this is a well-written book on a well-known topic that offers some new insights in some new ways of looking at things. I'd suggest you add this one to your library.
