The Book was a great rewrite of the movie. My family enjoyed both very much. The love between Joshua and his grandfather was so heartwarming it gave me goosebumps. Death is so much a part of life. It is nice to have a book and movie that can encourage an exchange of feelings between parents and children. The subject of death was not overwhelming and the humor was so typical of ten year old boys. It was an nice mix of humor and compassion. Thanks!
