One Woman's Spiritual and Emotional Journey to a New Life "Uplifting account of the author's passage from devastating grief to a fulfilling life alone" Kirkus Reviews "A moving examination of love and... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I am writing because of David Zytowski's comments. Anne H. does not whine; nor is she obsessed with money. You have had to experience this horrific loss in order to walk in her shoes and feel what she is feeling. I lost my husband almost two years ago and Anne made me feel like everything I was feeling and doing was "normal". Before reading this book, I would relive every argument we ever had in our 46 years of marriage, everything I could have, should have done to save his life (I couldn't) and of feeling like a traitor if I thought of moving on. I credit Anne for realizing she had to let go to live, I am not there yet; I am too afraid to let go of something that was my life, someone I adored - but like Anne I am trying to do what my husband would have wanted me to do. I thank Anne H from the bottom of my heart for sharing her heart with so many others of us who have lost and have so much pain they want to explode. I thank Anne for letting me know, I'll be ok -maybe not great, but ok again someday.
