I needed a book that would let me identify orchids in my area. This is just what I needed. It's complete - there was a lot of research that went into finding old records and herbarium collections to confirm ranges. The key is easy to use if you know your botanical terminology. This book is not designed for the casual hiker who is not familiar with botany. But if you want to really know about orchids, this is it!
