And, oh, writing these stories was fun This fantastika collection is a tongue-in-cheek bestiary where character is more important than plot. Clever quips may occur. No great scares like hillbilly cannibals, or ax-slashing lunatics, no faceless hockey masks, or even the common, mundane inhuman horrors that jump out of the daily police reports. No great atrocities. Small splatters of blood here and there. Well... a few not so small splatters. Let us remember that behind every monster is usually a man. Or Man.
