This is a wonderful very well written book. This mans knowledge is like no others! Knowing the man personally the forward by Greg Best is very true & touching! Frank Chapot is a man of few words so those that he speaks are like gold!
excellent book for beginning show jumping

Frank Chapot, a legendary horseman in the equestrian world, brings his many years of experience to paper in this wonderful book for those looking to win in the jumper ring. From choosing the correct horse and bringing that horse to qaulity show level, chapot explains the equipment, training and personal mind state one must have to succeed in the competitive world of show jumping. There is a great question and answer section in the back of the book, and anecdotes from frank's experiences scattered here and there. The only draw back i found was that I wished he had spent more time on the training section of horse and rider, this is not a book for complete beginners.
