Collecting Witchblade #101-109, plus cover gallery for a massive nine-issue trade paperback.
I totally loved this book! Dani Baptiste is my favorite bearer of the Witchblade. At first it was Sara, but I like the fact that Sara had to give it up to Dani, so she could take care of Hope.
great intro into the story

i was never a big fan of the Witchblade and never watched the show. A friend of mine who is into comic books spoke about how this was a great story and was worth the read. Although i really have very little knowledge of the overall story, since the main character Sara Pezzini is essentially faced with a situation where she is forced to pass the witchblade to another, this book gives the reader some insight into the overall history of the story. Obviously not specifics, but a good general overview. The art is supurb and the book offers a very entertaining story line. Overall, i thought this was a good book and is worth the read.
Mid level recommendation

This book is a good addition to any witchblade collector's library. It has the first appearance of Dannie Baptiste (one of the current Witchblade bearers) and sets up several new story arcs for the series such as First Born and the current mini-series Battle of the Blade. New to the book series, we also get the first glimpses of Stepan Sejic's amazing art work. Overall it's a pretty decent read.
