Although I don't read a lot of ghost stories, I picked up this book as research for my own writing. The first story, "The Witch of Pungo" is what Williamsburg's drama "Cry Witch" is based on. It is a very interesting tale and shows the naivety of 18th Century people. I haven't made it through the entire book yet but it makes for a good keepsake for those who have visited Colonial Williamsburg!
