This book had way too much going on all at once. The author needed to pick a couple tropes and stick with it. The romance was painfully forced and the ending was rushed. It had so, so much potential and was completely squandered. Do not bother with this book, I only finished it because I was rage reading, I genuine kept being like “it can’t get worse”. No, it can. And it will.
