I bought this book a few years ago and return to it again andagain. It's wonderfully comforting in those down moments we all have.It's like sitting down with a kindly, wise old friend who knows just what to say. Chapters on how to handle specific problems conclude with a prayer appropriate to the problem or concern. The language of the prayers is a little archaic (thees and thous) but that's never bothered me. This little book can put wind in your sails!

What is interesting is about this book is that is not one to be read from cover to cover. It is more a reference and source of inspiration in dealing with life's events. At the end of each chapter, there is an excellent prayer to our Father. The basis of this book demonstrates how faith in our Father and His son, Jesus, and the love they have given us strengthens us in dealing with daily situations. It is interesting to note that this book was apparently first published in 1944 and 55 years later the advice and counsel contained in each chapter is relevant today as it was then. This is the type of book that should be carried and kept on hand to help you through trying times. If used properly, the pages will become "dog eared" through frequent use. Great book for all ages.
