Great Recipes and Beautifully Illustrated

Not just a cookbook, but a beautiful keepsake to be cherised by book lovers. Makes a wonderful gift to those who love to cook (my best friend), newlyweds (my daughter), great shower gift. I am not too fond of cooking but delight in these recipes - they are delicious and easy. Most of all I just love owning and browsing through this beautiful book!

This is an uncommon recipe book in that the authors have collected lots of usable recipes. I have owned many cookbooks over the years, and usually I end up using only a few of the recipes from any individual cookbook. But the authors got their friends and family to share the best recipes they had, and the authors then used those recipes in this book. So there are lots of usable meals and dishes here. The only caution I would make is that this is not a low cal cookbook. The authors use sugar and butter liberally. But when cooking for friends and company you can hardly fail with this book.
