Without A Word: A cozy mystery
On a visit to her old hometown actress Ann Summers revisits a charming Maple Lane a small street of old house that had always intrigued her as a child walking past on her way to school. One carriage-house inpaticular had always charmed her, finding it for sale, Ann tours it with a realtor and surprises herself when she impulsively buys it.
Soon the new owner finds the quaint house and Maple Lane has secrets, including a pervious owner who mysteriously disappeared, ghostly sounds and a seemingly lost black cat. Other disappearances have been happening in the area, children have been going missing.
After first enjoying the privacy of her house Ann finds revisiting where she grew up makes her lonely, until she bumps into Oliver a friend from her past her who she invites to stay with her. Together they have fun getting reacquainted and decorating the new home...until as they begin to investigate mysteries things become more sinister and dangerous, as more disappearances occur.
