If you're looking for a great book to read during your commute to/from work or to pass the time lying on the beach this summer A Women's Cry should be your #1 choice. I could not put this book down! I was anxious to turn the page and continue the story of Fabian and India. The chapters are short enough that you can finish a chapter on your way to/from work and the story is so captivating that the minutes just fly by and you can't believe you've reached the last page of the book. I would HIGHLY recommend this book especially to a young woman living in NYC.

You will not be able to put the book down as soon as you start reading it. This story will be extremely inspiring to a whole generation of young Latinas who may be in or find themselves in similar trapped situations that threaten to strip their identity. The book is raw when necessary, tender when called for, but gripping throughout.
