to all who were expecting something one-dimensional, this book starts from the core and expands, always with humor, from the matters that concern us all the most deeply to the most trivial of issues - this is a manual for life and drag, and very very well-expressed. Not to mention useful. Highly recommended!

I admit, I bought this book strictly for the photos. I'm a makeup fanatic and the photos of his makeup (and him in general) were phenomenal. So once I actually sat down with the book and started to read its contents, I was instantly pleased with the purchase. Ru Paul has great advice on life and beauty. He doesn't exclude any particular person based on gender, he speaks to both in terms of advice. It was entertaining and useful at the same time. If you're a beauty fan, a ru paul fan, or an aspiring drag queen you'll like this book.

& I had a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to meet and get my book signed by RuPaul!!! He/She was signing the book at the Border's Bookstore(58th & Columbus Circle, NYC) Friday night and there was a GREAT CROWD to meet & greet him/her. RuPaul is such a GREAT, KIND, HUMBLE and yet FIERCE, BOLD, EVER STRONG person you'll ever meet! And just like in his/her book, that's what he/she is all about. I say "WERK IT" RuPaul - you are truly OUR SUPERMODEL of all time!!! ;-D
