Our work team has been looking for some tools to help facilitate the ever-ongoing process of team building. As we brought in an outside consultant for a one-day retreat, he referenced and described the "goals/roles/process/relationships" paradigm. This "rang true" and resonated well with many on our team. After querying our consultant, we found this paradigm came from the work of James Shonk.Shonk expands upon this model/paradigm in his book, and provides several questionnaires and evaluation tools that we've been able to adapt for use with our team.Although this book was first published in 1982, we were able to get a a third edition copy published in 1988.
