The comic phenomenon known as the Would You Rather...' series finds its ultimate expression in this enormous compilation of deranged dilemmas -- more than 1,500 in nearly 500 pages -- accompanied by zany illustrations, games, and comedic riffs. Authors Justin Heimberg and David Gomberg draw on everything from movies and music to food and drink in this collection that's perfect for groups, parties, or the lone reader who wants a good laugh.
OK, apparently I missed the bus when these books became popular. I must have been off raising a family or something. The basic premise of this book is that "The Deity" has come down from on high and presented you with a choice. You MUST make a choice and cannot just opt out. The options presented are never as easy as say, "Would you rather have your eyes poked out or inherit 100 million dollars?" That would be way too simple. The situations here are more like, "You're gonna get your eyes poked out. Would you rather have it done with a sharp stick or a dull one?" Dang that's a good one! Not in the book but you get the idea. This book is broken up into numerous chapters, each addressing a topic of "Would you rather..." questions. There are several chapters on sex and innumerable questions scattered about the various categories touch on sexual situations. If this bothers you, pass on this book since you will get your sensibilities stomped on! This is the party and drinking person's version of "The Book of Questions." Not as deep but a lot of fun. At the next family reunion, I know what book is going to be pulled out!
HOURS OF FUN...

I bought this book because I had been given the original Would You Rather... as a gift and I loved it. When I started looking to buy one of the other books, it seemed like this Overstuffed version was a combination of all the others, and it is. On the back cover it lists that this book contains content from Electric Boogaloo, Love 7 Sex, Pop Culture, What's Your Price, and the Trippin' edition. So basically, its all the books rolled into one without having to buy all the others. And it's awesome. I have already made one coworker laugh so hard she cried. :) It was definitely a good purchase, although be warned it does have some adult content so it's probaly not for kids.
Hysterical fun!

Ignore the negative reviews from people too ignorant to read the books before buying them. This series was always meant for a mature audience. I work part time in a costume shop with my boyfriend, a lot of the job is working with other adults in a very small room and tensions can run high at times, especially around deadlines. This book series has got us through some tough days by making us laugh and making tedious hours of hand sewing fly by because of the great conversations they inspire. I highly recommend these books to a mature audience who are looking for a good conversation starter, great for parties or slow/repetitive work days where good conversations help make the day go by faster!
Incredible book

YES, it is intended for a mature audience. That is the only reason for the low ratings from other people. Keep that in mind. Besides that, it is a hilarious and entertaining book. Buy it, seriously!
Love it! Fun Conversations

My husband and I carpool every day to work, and take turns reading questions from the book and discussing our answers. We LOVE this book, it's so fun - some of the questions are very off the wall, thought provoking, or downright silly. It's provided us with hours of entertainment. I would recommend this for family get-togethers (older families, some of the questions are very sexual in nature), road trips, or just killing time.
