I absolutely LOVE this book. The author, Elizabeth Chesla, offers effective strategies that can boost one's writing prowess. The way that she constructs the book is so thorough. She starts from the big picture, like basic organization, and then works her way down to the smaller pictures, like constructing a coherent thesis statement. Chesla also ventures into many other avenues of essay writing, such as style and freshness of thought. However, the thing that I like most about this book is its workbook's structure. Because this is a workbook, I feel more interactive with the author. I absolutely love this book, and I think that anyone who's looking to improve their essay writing ability should get it.
