A great set of tools to improve your writing

This is not one of those big, boring grammar books that leaves you feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. If you need to brush up on your writing skills or want to be more concise, this self-paced instruction book and CD-ROM is for you. I found the diagnostic test to be very helpful and the examples both plentiful and excellent. I appreciated that the focus is on business documents, not some old-fashioned proper etiquette for sending thank-you notes to Aunt Martha (although they do provide templates for over 300 types of letters). Most impressive was the professional design and reliable performance of the interactive CD-ROM. Someone who understands both human factors and effective information design clearly had a hand in developing this. Rather than renew this for the 5th time at my local library, I finally felt compelled to buy my own copy. I recommend that you do too.
