Stephen Law's The Xmas Files is an excellent and easy to read book of short philosophy essays centred around issues related to Christmas. All the usual suspects are here such as the existence of God, the feasibility of miracles and others such as the existence of altruism and faith in modern society. If you're a philsophy student it probably won't be much use but if you're justy looking for a though-provoking but not too heavy read then this is worth a shot.
