The X-Men--mutant protectors of a world that fears and hates them. The Avengers--Earth's mightiest heroes, the greatest super-team ever assembled. When the Scarlet Witch of the Avengers and Rogue of... This description may be from another edition of this product.
After all, the X-Men have several. This is a review of book#1 (the data base tends to mix them all together.) Greg Cox reminds me of Roy Thomas writing Marvel comics in the 60's and 70's. He can take the Marvel characters and advance them a step further while maintaining their original essence and actually improve on them. I never really liked the Hulk and Iron Man that much until I read this book. I also liked his approach to the relationship between the post-divorce Vision and Scarlet Witch. The climax battle at Niagra Falls is awesome; it is as vivid as an actual comic book while supplying details that could only be described in prose. It takes a good writer to do that.
amazing

I love this book. I love the Gamma Quest Trilogy. what a fine ending to the Gamma Quest storyline.I admit i'm disappointed not all of the active Avengers are included into the three books.

This book was very well written. I used to collect comic books years ago but I stopped because it seemed like the comic books were all art and no story. But thanks to greg cox's gamma quest trilogy all I had to worry about was plot and no art. I was so impressed with this story that I'm looking forward to the conclusion of this trilogy. Thanks Greg for showing us that it not just how good the art is but how excellent a story can be without colorful splash panels on every page of a comic book.
Cox Is Great At Epic Fight Scenes

Though I liked the painful predicament of Wolverine, Rogue, and the Scarlet Witch (and especially appreciated Wanda's reaction to meeting Rogue), the whamdinger of a final battle at Niagara Falls is the highlight of this book. What a scene of total chaos, excellently done!
Like His Previous Books

I've enjoyed Greg's Previous books. Especially the Q Continum. So no doubt, this one will be worth a read. Even though he writes long chapters, he still manages to keep us entertained. Keep up the good work Greg.
