This book contains great value. The Space Gems case study actually makes this book fun to do and drives home many basic XML techniques used in web development today. If you currently don't know anything about XML and want to gain a good working knowledge of how it is used - this is the book for you. Easy to read and the authors responded quickly to any quesitons and issues that I had. One of the better books out there for beginners.
