The reader is provided evidence for ten courtroom cases and must decide whether each defendant is guilty or innocent This description may be from another edition of this product.
I am a substitute teacher and always have a bag of tricks I take with me to each classroom. I was in a 4th grade classroom for 6 days and this little book was a great classroom management tool. The last 15-20 minutes of each day the students got into small groups to solve these cases. They had to come up with a verdict and the reason why they believed they were correct. This was great for communication, problem solving, group work, reasoning, and it was so much fun. I wish they were all still in print. I would recommend this to any substitute or teacher looking for a little extra fun and at a great price too.

I use this book with classes of third grade gifted students. The cases keep them thinking, as they take notes on the cases and then discuss their findings with one another.
You figure out the mystery.

These books are great. They are really fun to play with your family or friends. You can even give out parts and and act the mystery out. In each mystery there are 3 pictures and some of the pictures you have to study and see what doesn't fit with the mystery. Its really fun!! I recomend it for anyone!!
It is good in teaching one how to make a correct verdict.

This book teaches people that are planning to or being on the jury to know when and where to use certain info. It also teaches people not to believe everything you hear. So I think that this book would be good to sell to schools. So students can read and learn. Its also good stimulation of the brain. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Great for curious kids

I bought one book from this series for my 10-year old "argumentative" daughter. It was very satisfying for her to use her "poke holes in any statement" tendency, in this pre-teen stage where she thinks she knows everything, and match wits with real lawyers and a jury. She just loved it! I loved that she was reading something that challenged her intellect so much and gave us something to discuss - better than "Babysitters Club"! I plan to get her the rest of the series. I really recommend this series to parents of kids in this 9-12 age group
