Upbeat, encouraging, and affirming of individuality!

My 12 year old daughter loved this book so much that she wanted to keep the library book! It's not only a book appropriate for early readers and young children, but also appeals to young adolescents, who really need to hear that they are very special and loved just as they are! The story line is engaging, and the illustrations are superb.
