I got my bible back!

Honestly, KJV is so hard to understand, but it's the best version to read if you're willing to study and become a student in school for ministry. Otherwise, NIV is just as good, and it gets the points across.
I have this bible but I ordered another one because the one I have was left out in the rain.
The daily devotions, and the little excerpts here and there, will help a young student in the faith to better understand the Bible because it explains what the verses mean, and it will give you a daily real life examples of what you just read.
Some might be cheesy, but for a young me, this was my soul. I'm 34 years old now, Still got my "soul" and ordered another "one" :D. I'm happy this version is the hardcover, please hopefully they send this correct zondervan version with the purpley cover.

I love this book because it touches on all of the important issues that teens and everyone else faces from day to day. It helped me make a lot of important decisions and better understand the Bible and use it's teachings in everyday life.

I own three copies of this wonderful Daily Walk. Daily commentaries are interesting and help you to understand each day's reading more thoroughly. My latest edition is the bonded leather because I carry this one everywhere and enjoy it DAILY!
Wonderful, easy-to-understand translation of the Bible

I purchased this particular bible based upon "Power for Living"'s praise for the New Living Translation, and the other reviewer who said I'd be glad I bought it in less than a month. They're both right. I'm sorry to say I had never sat down and read the Bible at any great length until now (at age 51). Now I've read most of the New Testament, and plan to finish the whole Book within a year. The "Daily Walk" introductions for the various pieces are very informative and well done. I think anyone who gets this version will be well-pleased.

If you have never succeeded in reading through the Bible, this is the Book for you. The notes are clear and brief. The time needed for each day's reading is short and the Word readily comes alive in this format. The New Living is an easy to understand translation, even when you're tired. You will be challenged to maturity and given tools to help get you there. This a fantastic format for easy daily reading (although I'd recommend beginning in the New Testement if you are new to the Bible). You'll be glad you made this purchase before the first month is over.
This bible truly reaches out to the younger generation.

This bible has created a hunger and excitement in my youth group. It touches on subjects familiar to this generation. As a leader I learned so much from the "Hot Topic" sections dealing with problems and sensitive subjects of this generation. If you're buying for a group make sure each person receives one. The demand for this bible among my group has been unbelievable. The devotionals added to each book of the bible are great for starting conversations and introducing themes. Overall, this bible has been a "GOD-SEND". No teenager should grow up without it.
