In this second volume, the pain of being a queer teenager in love with your best friend (Which really, is the story of every lesbian everywhere :P) really comes to a head, and it is handled in such a magnificent and appropriately awkward way that it reminded me of my own painful high school experiences. Minus Sadako, of course. The storytelling is excellent, the characters become fully realized in this volume, not just people you cheer for, but people you begin to understand. A must for any reader that appreciates a complex comic.
